We have a presence in every Egyptian port and can handle crew issues for visiting vessels covering a wide range of support services. We see crew transportation as a vital element of our operations as a leading shipping services agency and we have a fleet of crew transport vans that operate from four of the leading ports in Egypt – Port Said, Alexandria, Suez and Damietta. We never underestimate the importance of keeping crews moving and delivering them safely and on time to their next assignments.

To do this we have created experienced team that is in constant communication with captains, ship owners, operators and crew during every stage of our service provision. If changes are needed at the last minute or if an emergency occurs, we can handle any of these through our in-house team and  ensure that  they arrive at their destination on time. A captain has enough to be concerned about without having to worry if crew changes or their collection and deliveries from rail stations, airports, visits to medical centres or the handling of their paperwork is being looked after. This is all part of Safina’s crew services and we understand individual customer’s unique needs and work with them to ensure these matters are dealt with efficiently.

Safina has the right people based across Egypt, experienced people on the ground to assist because we see ourselves not merely as service providers but as partners: our role is to ensure your vessels are cleared and serviced on arrival and ready for departure and that includes having your crew ready at the same time. As with all our services we work in partnership with our customers to eliminate delays. Crew members are collected and delivered to various locations according to a strict timetable and Safina delivers as we do with all our ship agency services.

This year Safina branded vans will be much in evidence in and out of Egyptian ports collecting and delivering crew members to ships using the Suez Canal or Red Sea. No matter what the request concerning crews, it is our commitment to meet deadlines and deliver the vital assets ships need.
